Institute Beikran Hasti Mehr

Beikran Hasti Mehr’s individual activities began in 1993 with financial support for 1,200 children under the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee. And in 2002, in the form of extensive financial donations independently of child laborers and assistance in establishing the Association for the Support of Working and Street Children in 2002 and financial support for this association to advance its goals in order to establish charity schools for child laborers in deprived areas. Also, in the field of securing teachers’ salaries, these schools have been continuously active in providing students with necessities such as clothes and stationery and providing hot meals for students. The result of this cooperation with the Child Labor Association, which continued until 2013, was the establishment of 7 schools for child laborers in deprived areas.

Problem statement

The first issue is the high population and increasing number of stray dogs across the country, which has led to problems such as disruption of the natural ecosystem, visual pollution, bite hazards, the spread of viruses and microbes, etc. The second issue: global warming, climate change, and human unprincipled exploitation of forests and grasslands through uncontrolled cutting of trees and changing the use of a large part of them has reduced the area of forests to less than half over the past hundred years, and as a result, the process of carbon sequestration and oxygen production has faced serious shortages. The third issue, following the material raised in the previous issue, is that wildlife is facing problems and needs help in terms of access to safe and healthy drinking water, as well as food during the glacial periods, as well as emergency and medical services caused by human activities.

Goal

To solve the first problem: Establish a shelter for stray dogs in order to participate in the operation of rehoming, vaccination, sterilization and transfer to the applicant guardians of these animals free of charge.

To solve the second problem: Produce and purchase seedlings for free donation to complete and develop public green spaces and green spaces of administrative, military and regulatory institutions, as well as restore and rebuild natural forest areas.

To solve the third problem: Repair existing worn-out water fountains and build new water fountains in wildlife sanctuaries and provide emergency and medical services needed by them in coordination with the Environmental Protection Organization.

Execution method

By using the approved goals and operational plans, and making optimal use of the specialized knowledge and executive experiences of the institution’s staff and expert and experienced consultants, government support and participation of relevant executive agencies, as well as using financial assistance from board members, bank facilities, and, if necessary, attracting public assistance.
